APFT offers the Assistant Flight Instructor Rating - AFIR (A) program to Pilots who holding Commercial Pilot Licence. Who desirous of becoming Assistant Flight Instructor may enroll for this course.
Under this AFIR (A) Course privilege, the CPL holder can become a Pilot Instructor in any Pilot Training Academy.
PRE-REQUISITE
20 hrs of Ground Briefing classes and 20 hrs of patter flying training by DGCA approved Examiner of APFT.
All flying checks would be done by DGCA approved Examiner of APFT/DGCA FOI
